Japan Tobacco International is a leading international tobacco company, with headquarters in Switzerland.

We were formed in 1999 when our parent company JT Group acquired the non-US operations of R.J.Reynolds. Since then, our international workforce has driven two decades of growth.

Our Sustainability Priorities

We operate a complex, global business in a uniquely challenging industry, against the backdrop of a world that is constantly and quickly changing in unprecedented ways.

To ensure a sustainable future for our business, we’ve identified four focus areas that we believe will impact change on both a macro and micro-level, in the coming years and subsequent decades

JTI Vietnam is a representative office with a head office based in Ho Chi Minh City.

We cooperate with Vinataba for manufacturing through Thanh Hoa factory.

JTI LAUNCHES EQUAL FAMILY LEAVE POLICY

JTI offers an equal family leave policy for all employees with a minimum of 20 weeks fully paid leave for respective employees, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or whether employees become parents by giving birth or through adoption or surrogacy. This plan was introduced on January 1, 2022.

With the new family leave policy, we aim to offer gender-neutral benefits and career opportunities and provide equal support for the different roles employees play in society. Regardless of your gender, you will be encouraged to take care of both your career and your family. This policy brings a significant improvement from JTI for the second caregiver who is currently only entitled to one-week paid leave.

• Green Office Initiative: Reduce CO2 emission by nearly 26% exceed the target of 6% - and got Green Office Certificate
